Every year over 21,000 youth age out of the foster care system with little more than dreams for a better future. What tool could be greater in reaching these dreams than the opportunity to an education? Scholarship House provides education mentors, scholarship housing, on campus support and financial and life skills classes for foster youth continuing their postsecondary education- giving them academic tools for an independent life.
Our vision is simple: give them the tools to make their educational goals real and they will change the world.
“I am inspired each time a group of dedicated individuals takes the necessary steps towards making a difference in the life of a child. Programs, such as Scholarship House, do so by reaching out to our state’s most vulnerable children and offering assistance and guidance as they work to improve themselves through education and hard work. By equipping children with the necessary resources for success, we make a positive impact in their lives and in the future of Georgia.”
